Large-Scale Metal Sculpture
Bronze, brass, concrete, glass, gemstones, burlap, and wood, 20"x26"36"
This sculpture follows the journey of a dove flying through a gold arch, leaving geometric glass shapes behind it and casting brilliant light in its wake. In the middle of the arch is a glass kaleidoscope, which when viewed through, further fragments the geometric shapes of the dove and glass in front of it in gorgeous bright colors. This surreal sculpture attempts to capture how beauty can still be found in struggle and hardship. This sculpture was created specifically for the WPAC Summer Exhibition with community interaction in mind.
Located at "The Alley" in downtown Warsaw in June-October 2022
